POLY-PEN enables graphics artists to locally add or remove polygons from a mesh model in real-time with an easy to use interactive tool with instant visual feed back.

Automatic mesh optimization can not always detect what features on a model that are the most important. Poly-Pen enables the user to preserve important parts of the mesh, and remove unwanted features or artifacts on the model. Such features could be eyes and mouth on a human model, or joints that needs to be more detailed for animation to work. POLY-PEN will be licensed as a sub-component of SIMPLYGON.
